THE ICEMAN’S Throwback song of the day!

#TGIF! Today’s throwback song of the day takes a trip back to the fall of 1982 when at Carnegie Mellon University the first documented use of the emoticons 🙂 and 🙁 appeared, In the movies; “E.T. was phoning home” and John Belushi (heroin & cocaine overdose) tragically passed away. Today’s song peaked at and spent four weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Chart. John Oates explained that while it is natural to assume the lyrics are about a woman, the song actually was originally written “about NYC in the ’80s. It’s about greed, avarice, and spoiled riches. But we have it in the setting of a girl because it’s more relatable.” It’s #HallandOates with #Maneater.
